New What Katie Did Lingerie

What Katie Did started in 1999, after being unable to afford fully fashioned stockings, Katie Thomas decided to invest £100 in nylons to sell at The London Fetish Fair. This led to her creating her own website and in 2002, What Katie Did’s first reproduction of the Bullet bra was launched, the first to be produced in the country. The next year, the company opened a boutique in London's Portobello Road.

What Katie Did specialise in recreating glamorous lingerie designs from the 1940s and 1950s. Their iconic bullet bra has been worn by celebrities from Rihanna to Madonna - and everyone in between! With two flagship stores in London and Los Angeles, plus a website that ships worldwide and over 100 stockists, you’ll never be far from a little retro glamour.
At What Katie Did we create beautiful lingerie, corsetry and hosiery inspired by the 1940s and 1950s. Our designs are based on vintage patterns, adapted only slightly for modern figures, using authentic fabrics and even old-fashioned production methods wherever possible.
